Preschool Program

Our on-site preschool serves 12 families of students ages 2-5. We are presently waitlisting for prospective students. 

 

Our HHMS director provides periodic free tours either in-person or virtually for prospective parents. The director also assesses at this time for readiness for on-site programming. On-site is an excellent option for parents who desire to augment the social aspects of learning while still retaining the benefits and security of a low teacher student ratio.

Flow of the Day

  • 9:00-9:15- Arrival

  • 9:15-10:30- Welcome circle; Morning work period

  • 10:30-11:00- Potty breaks, hand-washing & Snack

  • 11:00-11:45- Outdoor play

  • 11:45-12:00- Potty breaks, hand-washing, cool down

  • 12:00-12:30-Lunch

  • 12:30-1245- Clean-up, Independent reading time

  • 12:30-12:50- Read-aloud

  • 12:50-1:00-Closing circle, songs & departure for younger students

  • 1:00-1:30- Rest period

  • 1:30-2:00- Outdoor play

  • 2:00-2:50- Afternoon work period

  • 2:50-3:00- Closing circle, songs & departure for older students
